A thorough physical examination starts our complete medical assessment. Our doctors will examine your pet from nose to tail. A typical examination includes the following: eyes, ears, nose, throat, heart and lungs, muscular-skeletal, skin, neurological, gastrointestinal. Since humans can contract parasites from our pets, we recommend an annual fecal check for worms (and twice a year if your pet goes to day care or the dog park). Due to the higher risk of Lyme disease in this area, we recommend an annual Heartworm test (which also tests for 3 tick-borne diseases). Depending on your pet’s age and condition, we may recommend other blood tests or a urinalysis – we offer a wide range of Senior Health Panels for our geriatric four-footed family members.
